However, I paid hundreds of dollars for these frames. For the price of this frame, I feel it is of decent quality. The wood is not polished. It has a somewhat flat texture. The cover is made of very clear, high quality plastic and is not glass. The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some very minor scratches and slight imperfections/dents in the wood frame. Note: These are very slight and cannot be seen from a distance. That is why I chose to keep the frame and not return it. If you are looking to get a cheap frame that will nicely house your prized diploma and not break your budget, this is the frame for you.
